Hosting events and always being on the hunt for sweet snacks, I decided to come up with a really cool event! This week I invited some fun bloggers and influencers out to tour a couple of Houston's best donut shops!
We had the chance to test out donuts, take crazy photos, and even got the chance to go behind the scenes!
Originally the plan was to find the best donut. However, that was a hard task! Each donut shop had something pretty amazing that set them a part from the others. All three tasted super delicious and offered some fun colorful options that would be great for your next event. With Easter around the corner there was some fun Easter Bunnies out there and lots of pastel colored goodness!

During our tour we stopped by River Oaks Donuts, Duck Donuts, and
Lee's Fried Chicken Donuts. It wasn't easy picking out which ones I thought tasted the best, however it was much easier figuring out which donuts I thought looked the cutest! Don't judge me.
River Oaks Donuts was our first stop and I really enjoyed the assortment they set aside for us! My favorites were the Easter inspired donuts and the mini donut holes. The team was so fun and helpful, which I think made everything taste even better. I learned that they just launched espresso for all you coffee drinkers like myself.
We quickly jetted over to Duck Donuts and I have to say... they have donut making mastered! Cake donuts are my favorite and Duck Donuts make theirs fresh to order! The Key Lime option is a huge hit and I now know why. Allison and team whipped up their Spring assortment and gave us a chance to take the camera to the kitchen. There's nothing like a fresh warm donut. All I needed was some Malk (yes, MALK)!
Our last stop of the day was Lee's. For larger yeast donuts, these were definitely the prettiest ones of the day. Lisa (PR) grabbed all the goodies from the kitchen! Lee's is a special Houston gem because they do chicken & donuts very well. My favorite was the Double Donut Chicken Sandwich.
