Hey friend!
Let's jump right into it. The past few months have been a true struggle bus, creatively. If you've followed any of my previous blog posts you know that I like to be transparent and honest about my experiences as a creative and entrepreneur. Honestly it helps me work through it when I jot it down. Plus we already have enough people faking it like everything is glitz and glam! That my friends... is not my ministry. Sometimes things are pure trash!
So because I've been in this odd space and everything seemed blurry, I knew it was time to disconnect. I felt like I needed to leave my environment for a bit in hopes that it would inspire me to get my shit together. Well, last month I had the chance to experience Marfa, TX. with a group of creatives. I planned this trip not knowing if anyone would really be interested in joining me. Little did I know... I was about to embark on an journey with a group of new best friends.
I wanted to make sure I didn't invite friends, or people I've worked with in the past. It was important to me that the group didn't know each other well (or at all). Crazy right? Imagine driving 8 hours to the middle of no where with people you barely know. Well... it was bomb AF!
